New Toronto: The Lakeside Neighborhood

The Location
The neighborhood is located in South Etobicoke and borders Lake Ontario to the South, close to the Mississauga border. Towards the east of the area is Mimico, while the Long Branch neighborhood is to the west. The area’s limits are defined by Twenty Third Street in the west, the Canadian National Railway train tracks to the north, and Dwight Avenue to the east.
The area is well-connected to inland and coastal routes that provide easy access to Lake Shore Boulevard, the Gardiner Expressway, and Lake Ontario while also limiting trip durations to shopping areas and restaurants. The neighborhood has numbered streets, making it easier to reach your desired destination.
