The neighbourhood of Bloor West Village is located on the north side of Bloor Street, from Jane Street to just east of Runnymede. It is best known for its very popular shopping district, with its cafés, shops, restaurants, fruit & vegetable markets and flower shops. Bloor West Village has a distinct Eastern European flavour and its Business Improvement Association (BIA) was the first of its kind in Canada.
