5th Annual Valentine’s Day Draw: Celebrating Local High Park Businesses

The Smith Proulx Real Estate Team is thrilled to announce the 5th Annual Valentine’s Day Draw! This event is our way of showing love to the incredible local businesses that make High Park, Bloor West Village, and the Junction such vibrant neighbourhoods. These communities are not just great places to live because of their central location, walkability, and abundant green spaces—they’re also home to some of the most cherished local businesses.

This year, our draw supports 12 amazing shops and services, each offering something special. Here’s a closer look at the participating businesses, so you can start dreaming of which prize you’d love to win!

Participating Businesses

Thorn Floral ($100 Gift Card)

Thorn Floral is an independently owned flower shop on Annette in the Junction. Victoria is super talented and makes wonderful bouquets and does amazing floral work for weddings and events! A great spot to order a bouquet for your valentine.

Baka Gallery Café ($50 Gift Card)

Baka is a neighbourhood café at the corner of Bloor & Beresford Ave. In addition to great coffee, they serve freshly made meals and homemade pastries.

Cool Hand of a Girl ($50 Gift Card)

Cool hand of a girl is an independently owned lunch spot in the heart of the Junction. They have amazing food with a Mexican twist. You can also get some select groceries and prepared food there as well. A perfect spot to take your valentine.

Capucci Salon ($100 Gift Card)

Capucci is a hair salon located in the heart of Bloor West Village. It’s among Toronto’s leading hair salons. Capucci has been creating hair fashions for over 35 years.

Alpine ($100 Gift Card)

The Alpine is a restaurant right in the heart of the Junction. They have great beer and amazing food! They even do karaoke nights in their basement bar. It’s always a good time at the Alpine, a great spot to take your valentine on a date!

Cheese Boutique ($50 Gift Card)

The Cheese Boutique is a Swansea landmark. They’ve been offering the finest cheeses, meats, desserts and fresh foods for over 50 years.

Cookery ($50 Gift Card)

Why not stay and cook your valentine a nice dinner? The Cookery is a great spot to get all your cooking needs. They also offer culinary classes and knife sharpening. They have 4 Toronto locations, including one in Bloor West Village and another in Roncesvalles.

Snappers Fish Market ($50 Gift Card)

Snappers is a great fish store ‘right around the corner’ in the heart of Bloor West Village. You can always trust the freshness and quality of their products.

Gatto ($100 Gift Card)

Gatto is located on Bloor Street near Windermere. It’s a friendly family restaurant offering authentic Italian recipes including wood oven pizza.

Her’s Fine Lingerie ($50 Gift Card)

Her’s is a popular boutique in Bloor West Village and has been offering fine European lingerie and swimwear for over 30 years.

The Shoppe ($100 Gift Card)

Located in the heart of Bloor West Village, The Shoppe represents leading Canadian, European and international fine clothing makers. Why not have The Shoppe dress you for your Valentine’s get-together?

Lemon & Lavender ($50 Gift Card)

Lemon & Lavender is an absolutely lovely gift shop that has all sorts of unique gifts for every occasion. They have everything there! A perfect spot to pick up a gift for your valentine!
