Fun Fair Annette Street Public School

The sun is out… and so was the Smith Proulx team, once again in support of our Toronto west end community. On June 10th Annette Street Public School welcomed back their amazing Fun Fair – the first one in three years! and the Smith Proulx team was extremely proud to sponsor and contribute to the festivities.

The schoolyard was wild with games, face painting, bouncy castles, and treats that the kids and their friends and families all enjoyed!

Treats For All

The Smith Proulx team made sure to add their own touch to the afternoon’s festivities by bringing in our old friend, Panda, and the neighbourhood’s favourite BowTie Ice Cream truck!! More than 500 people went from visiting with Panda to sipping on some refreshing slurpees or digging into delicious ice cream! It was a blast watching the kids run back to the truck for seconds, thirds, and sometimes even fourths of their favourite frozen treat.

The ice cream man even remembered to bring tiny ice cream cones so he could give the babies tiny ice creams for free. What a treat to see the little ones trying ice cream for the very first time!

And of course, Panda was thrilled to meet all the kids and see their awesome face paint and their funky coloured hair!

And it doesn’t end there!

The Smith Proulx team was also honoured to have their very own booth at the FunFair! The team set up a raffle where the winner got four Blue Jays Tickets, free pens, sunglasses, and trendy tote bags. Lots of people tried their luck!

We were so proud and thankful to help out with the Annette Street Public School Fun Fair!

We know that our sponsorship helps to support the School’s community of learners, including helping to fund classes, provide technology, and bring in scientists and artists to the school that would otherwise not be possible.

It was a tremendous pleasure being able to contribute to all the rambunctious activities and endless fun. Event the Smith Proulx team felt like there was no better way to welcome the summer than spend the day with the community in The Junction and High Park neighbourhoods.
