How to claim your work-from-home tax credit in 2022

As with so much in the lives of Canadians nowadays, changes that came about due to the pandemic seem to be sticking around! People often liked the new approaches to life, business and community; they got to work from home more, priorities shifted with more focus on family and community connections, and Revenue Canada also had some new offerings.

As with mileage allowances for personal cars used for work, Rev Can introduced an expanded home office allowance for the 2020 tax year, and it remains in place today. How do you claim it?
